About Palouse Peace Coalition:
Who We Are and What We Do
The Palouse Peace Coalition is a group of
individuals from the communities of the Palouse Region
of northern Idaho and southeastern Washington,
working to achieve peaceful and just resolutions of our economic,
social, and environmental conflicts, locally and worldwide.
As students of peace, we
seek to attain and insure greater economic and social justice,
healthy
and sustainable environments, and
the fullest human rights for all.
As teachers of peace, we promote public
discussion and education, and humanitarian and
community action, to build and sustain justice
and peace.
We
individually and collectively seek to overcome our own conflicts
through greater understanding.
We work compassionately to foster personal,
local, national, and worldwide policies and
practices, that are more economically and
socially just, more enabling and sustaining for
everyone, for our communities and our
environment.
